Valentine's Day Gift Wrap

This project explores the idea of timeless love through design. Inspired by some of history’s most legendary lovers, the gift wrap features a repeating pattern of their names, celebrating stories of devotion, tragedy, and passion that have endured across centuries. Names such as Romeo and Juliet, Cleopatra and Mark Antony, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, and Tristan and Isolde are woven throughout the composition, turning the wrapping paper into a visual tribute to iconic romances.

The design aims to transform the act of wrapping a gift into part of the storytelling. Instead of being just a decorative layer, the wrap itself reflects the theme of love by surrounding the gift with references to couples whose relationships shaped literature, history, and art.

To accompany the wrap, a matching card was created to extend the same concept. The card echoes the typographic style and romantic tone of the wrapping paper, creating a cohesive set designed for occasions centred around love, connection, and meaningful gestures.
